Educational materials for teachers are published!
The aim of the Kids in Clouds Erasmus+ project is to introduce students with cloud-computing and empower them for using cloud-based tools in their everyday tasks. The first step on this path is to make it easier for teachers to use cloud-based tools so that afterwards they can successfully help students with cloud-computing.
This is why Kids in Clouds project partners were dedicated to creating the educational materials for teachers in the previous months. Project partners created materials for teachers in a form of video tutorials that show how to use free online cloud-based tools for the purpose of creating interactive presentations, graphics, quizzes, games and similar content. Teachers from Ludina Primary School (Velika Ludina, Croatia), College Jules Reydellet (Saint-Denis, France), Secondary School St. St. Cyril and Methodius (Smolyan, Bulgaria) and Primary School Horvati (Zagreb, Croatia) as well as Algebra’s experts worked together and finalized the materials.
These finalized digital educational materials represent interesting tutorials on using cloud-based tools in teaching. Materials are ready for watching or downloading and it is very simple to use them. In addition, materials are prepared in three different languages – Bulgarian, Croatian and French and in total, there are more than 170 available educational materials.
Created digital educational materials for teachers could be used widely. Namely, teachers of all subjects can use general tutorial videos to improve their knowledge about using cloud-tools, regardless of their previous knowledge about the topic. Moreover, tutorial videos also show the specific examples of using cloud-based tools in the lessons of the following subjects: Art, Bulgarian, Croatian, English and French language, History, Mathematics, Music and Science. In conclusion, with the help of created materials, teachers of different subjects from different countries will easily learn how to create their own digital materials in the cloud tools. Afterwards, teachers will be able to help students with mastering the use of cloud tools.
Digital educational materials for teachers are published and available in a newly formed online repository.
These materials will help teachers to master the use of cloud tools. Moreover, materials will be used in the next phase of the project when all created materials will be tested. This way, project partners strive to ensure the transnational applicability of the materials in order to meet the needs of different national education systems.
